A student may enter only one work in each category, but students may enter as many categories as they want. Criteria for judging will be creativity, skill, relevancy to the study of classics, and historical accuracy. You should submit an application for any project you have the slightest intention of doing. We can handle no-shows but we cannot handle last minute registrations. ANY PROJECT THAT IS NOT PROPERLY PRE-REGISTERED WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE CONTEST. Please put your name and the name of your school on the back of your entry where the judges cannot see them. We shall use coded identification numbers to classify projects and identify them for the judges. Students must sign the affirmation on the registration form. Art works should be made by the student entering them. In the model category, store-bought or machine made components may be used if they contribute to the historical accuracy of the model. Students entering the Graphic Arts Competition must arrive at the Ray School prior to noon to register their projects. |
