Elementary School Modern Myth

Modern myths are original stories that explain a modern phenomenon or teach a moral or create a new adventure or situation for an ancient character. Elementary school myths should be from 300-750 words long. They will be judged by grade level. N.B.: Myths that are longer than the specified lengths will be disqualified. All entries must be typed or printed and double-spaced. THE STUDENT’S NAME MUST NOT APPEAR ON THE MYTH ITSELF BUT ON THE SEPARATE COVER SHEET. Criteria for judging will be creativity, style, writing and evidence of understanding of classical mythology.
